*Meghan Trainor’s debut album, Title, hit number one in the Billboard charts this week. Dropping Taylor Swift’s 1989 to number two. However, 1989 did reach 4 million total copies sold this week (all of her albums have sold at least 4 million copies). At number three is Kidz Bop 27, and Ed Sheeran’s X dropped from number two to number four.

*Zooey Deschanel is pregnant and engaged to Jacob Pechenik! Her baby is expected in the summer of 2015.

*With the Sundance Film Festival fast in full swing (January 26th to February 1st) the excitement is so real. *The GLAAD Media Awards (Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) nominees were announced on Wednesday. This event acknowledges the media for it’s fair and inclusive representations of the LGBTQ community. *Ella Henderson, a female musician from the UK, is on the rise with her song Ghost (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tA8AfQaUnXM) racking up almost 41 million views on youtube. Her album, Chapter One, featuring Ghost is currently available on iTunes for purchase.
