A friend for life is hard to come by

A friend in death is easy

His life was exciting, dangerous, amazing–

Seeing different realities driving home

An icy road flooded with broken light

Falling from stilts, fire, white powder, shotguns

What else could possibly kill him–

but a simple staircase?

Socks slid.  He fell.
